I have always known that I am “different”. My earliest memories are of connecting with animals of all kinds, especially horses and cats, wanting to hold them, comfort them, play with them and knowing intuitively when they were hurt or frightened. As I matured, I noticed that I could sense the same thing about people. I remember mentioning this ability to my parents and other adults, but it was discounted as childish musings. I’ve always known about energy and healing and the potential that I could tap into if I trusted myself enough but feared what that would look like and mean in my life. I thought that my sole purpose was to get married, have children and provide support to my husband and family. I pushed all the “feeling” intuitive stuff down for years, was content and had a great life.
In June of 2013, all that I thought I was came to a screeching halt. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and it was during the following four years of that journey that I was given the message that I was on this earth to do something other than just drift along in complacency. Energy healing kept popping up in unexpected ways. An intuitive massage therapist/life coach, who I visited for myofascial release after one of my surgeries, helped me realize that I wasn’t living my life’s purpose and that if I wanted to recover from this “bump in the road” I would need to honor my true, Divine calling.
I kept telling myself that I was too old, too sick…. any excuse to get out of doing something that might be looked upon as different and was out of my comfort zone. I had spent a lifetime of fitting in, was extremely proficient at it and was super afraid to let that “part” of me out. What would my family think, how would my husband react, would my children continue to see me as someone they could come to with issues or ask for advice?
Finally, after my 8th surgery, I decided that enough was enough and I took the leap. I signed up for my first Healing Touch class that took place in January of 2017 and haven’t looked back. I started my practice, Arabesque Divinely Guided Energy Healing, in my home in March of 2017, after completing Healing Touch Level 3. I now also have office hours at Healing River Chiropractic in downtown Stillwater, which I love! I am also pleased to say that my family and friends are very supportive! They encourage me as I pursue my passion and continue my own self-healing journey through Healing Touch while empowering others on theirs.

The foundations of Chiropractic I found particularly enlightening, as the profession employs everything I believe is important in keeping people healthy. I was accepted to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN in 2014. To reinforce my studies there, I also enrolled in a Master’s degree of Exercise Science at Concordia University in St. Paul. MN. I also plan on completing a specialty certification in Functional Medicine through The Institute of Functional Medicine. When I am finished I will be able to holistically address the biomechanical and biochemical needs of my patients. I could not be more excited to start this new chapter of my career. I feel I have finally found my true calling after 18 years in the health care profession!

I grew up in a small town in Texas, and began my health care career when I was just 18 years old. I started as an EMT-Paramedic, working in rural Texas, which allowed me the opportunity to provide high-level critical care during the long transport times to a hospital. It was both a humbling and growing experience. Shortly after starting that career, I felt called to serve my country and joined the Army Reserve. I put my medical training to use as a combat medic for 5 years, including deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After returning, I felt I needed to continue my health care education. While I was in the Army Reserves I met my wonderful husband, and we’ve been married 14 years and have two enthusiastic children who keep me on my toes.

Restoring Your Health Naturally
There’s a wonderful online article about Dr. Kellie Seth of Healing River Chiropractic on the Eco Farming Daily website. Read it and you’ll understand why patients are amazed at the healing abilities of Dr. Seth. Here’s what the author, Andrew French, had to say about Dr. Seth after she treated him for shoulder pain:
“When I met Dr. Kellie a number of years ago I could feel immediately that she was a healer and that she was interested in getting to the root of my problems instead of addressing just the symptoms.” Read More

I am an energy healer, a wife to a loving, supportive husband, the mother of three fantastic children, a son and twin daughters, and proud grandmother of eight fun-loving grandchildren. I use the complementary, integrative energy therapy of Healing Touch to support self-healing of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of a person. I use my hands in a caring, compassionate way to charge up the energy centers in the body with a gentle, light or near the body touch. Healing Touch has opened doors and led to my own self-healing and I am blessed to be able to offer this gift to others so that they too may experience their own healing.
I was accepted into Nursing School in 2005, where I attended St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN and earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing with a minor in Biology. I also decided it was time to switch military branches and joined the Air Force Reserve. In the civilian world I worked my way to becoming an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse. In the Air Force I flew as an Aeromedical Evacuation Medical Technician. My role in the Air Force allowed me to fly all around the world caring for our nation’s warriors. I also deployed again in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to Afghanistan. Once more, after returning, I felt I needed to further my health care education. By this time I had also began developing my own philosophies about health and medical care.

I became aware of my desire to be a healer when I was 3 years old. I recall living in the backroads of an empty county, exploring what I deemed to be an unknown and wild terrain. I often brought dead salamanders or injured roadside wildlife home to mom for help in resuscitating. She was at a loss on how to heal my helpless patients, thus starting my journey in becoming a healer.
Through the years I was always fascinated with life and biology. With a pre-medicine focus, I studied animals and insects in my undergraduate degree, ending up a biochemist and entomologist. In my zeal for life in the world and the unknown, I left home for world travel—starting in the country of India. Little did I know I was about to get an education and experience I hadn’t bargained for.
My trip abruptly ended right before the camel safari, by a head-on car collision. I awoke in an unknown hospital, in a city I hadn’t heard of, with no one around. I learned that I had been a sole survivor, left in a coma for an unknown amount of time with only the clothes on my back. Talk about a journey for healing!
This was a little more complicated than healing a salamander. My education for healing turned away from animals and to that of the human body. In that time I studied herbs, homoeopathy, vitamins, exercise, everything I could read about. Above all the herbs, vitamins and alternative medicine I had used to gain improved health, chiropractic care was the most powerful and restorative therapy in my healing experience. All at once, through this healing quest, the picture was being drawn for me: my purpose, my raison d’etre, the healer inside.
I graduated from Northwestern Chiropractic College in 2013 with honors and a deep passion to heal and serve others. I am now complete and on the path to reaching my greatest potential, not just in the chiropractic profession, but through my inborn desire to be a healer.
"Above all the herbs, vitamins and alternative medicine I had used to gain improved health, chiropractic care was the most powerful and restorative therapy in my healing experience."
